Fourth Arrest Made in Fatal Hemsworth Shooting of Connor Batty
Police in West Yorkshire have arrested a fourth man in connection with the fatal shooting of 26-year-old Connor Batty during an alleged break-in at a property on Barnsley Road in Hemsworth. Batty was found dead after a firearm was discharged during the incident involving three men who forced entry into the property. The latest arrest is of a 28-year-old man from Barnsley on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery, and he remains in police custody. Previously, Adrian Frost, 60, was charged with possession of a firearm and production of class B drugs, while Dylan Kelly, 23, and Lewis Bromley, 25, have been charged with aggravated burglary and having a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence. Frost is due to appear in court on October 13, with Kelly and Bromley scheduled for October 15. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Batty's death as the case advances through the courts.
