North America Commemorates Remembrance and Veterans Day

Across Canada and the United States, communities gathered to honor veterans during Remembrance Day and Veterans Day ceremonies. Similarly, Elizabethtown held its 13th annual Veterans Day ceremony, featuring a motorcade and keynote by Lt. Col. Michael Cooper, emphasizing the importance of veteran contributions. In Saskatchewan, events were held at the Brandt Centre and Victoria Park, where veterans and community members reflected on the sacrifices made by past and present soldiers. The Calgary Ukrainian community also organized a memorial walk to honor both Canadian and Ukrainian soldiers, highlighting ongoing global sacrifices.
