Savannah Police Investigate Multiple Shootings Including Fatal Juvenile Attack

The Savannah Police Department is investigating multiple recent shootings in the city. On August 21, a juvenile male was fatally shot on Pennsylvania Avenue, with officers responding to ShotSpotter alerts; the case is being treated as a homicide with no arrests made yet. Earlier incidents include a non-life-threatening shooting of an adult male near W. 38th St. and Harden St., and another shooting on Wheaton St. that injured an adult female. In addition to these Savannah cases, Decatur Police in Alabama are investigating a separate shooting after a victim arrived at a local hospital, which is believed to be an isolated incident.
