Terry Beasley, a former Auburn University wide receiver and College Football Hall of Famer, has died at the age of 73, with his death being investigated as a potential suicide. He was found with a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to Moody Police Chief Reece Smith. Beasley suffered from over 50 concussions during his career and was part of a class-action lawsuit against the NFL over the impact of brain injuries, which was settled in 2016. His records for receiving yards (2,507) and touchdowns (29) at Auburn still stand, and his No. 88 jersey was retired by Auburn.
