Reonic, a climate tech SaaS startup based in Augsburg, Germany, has successfully raised €13 million in a Series A funding round, led by Northzone with participation from Point Nine and Puzzle Ventures. Founded in 2021, Reonic provides an end-to-end software solution designed to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the renewable energy sector streamline their workflows and digitize their processes. The company aims to expand its operations across Europe, starting with France, and has recently opened a second office in Berlin. This new funding comes after Reonic tripled its recurring revenue in the past six months and plans to increase its team size, currently standing at 21 members. Co-founders Tristan Menzinger and Lars-Manuel Schneider emphasize their goal to empower installers in the rapidly growing renewable technologies market, which is predominantly served by independent firms lacking digital tools. Reonic's software supports over 200,000 companies in Europe, facilitating the deployment of sustainable energy solutions such as solar panels and heat pumps.
