Endicott College Officer Killed in Car Crash

Endicott College is mourning the loss of Sgt. Jeremy Cole, a beloved campus police officer who was killed in a wrong-way crash on Thanksgiving morning while returning from his shift. The 49-year-old officer was struck head-on by a Tesla driven in the wrong direction on I-95 in Massachusetts; he was pronounced dead at the scene. Cole, who had served the college for 15 years and was nearing completion of his criminal justice degree, was known for making students feel safe and cared for, earning deep respect from the campus community. A memorial vigil was held where students and staff shared fond memories and wrote letters to his family, highlighting his profound impact on their lives. In support of Cole's family, Endicott College has committed to covering college tuition for his four children when they are ready to attend.
