Northern Superchargers win maiden Women’s Hundred title at Lord’s

The Northern Superchargers secured their first Women's Hundred title with a commanding seven-wicket victory over the previously unbeaten Southern Brave at Lord's. Brave, who had won all eight of their group-stage matches and were defending champions, were limited to 115 for six, with key wickets taken by Kate Cross and Annabel Sutherland. In response, the Superchargers' batting depth shone, with notable performances from Phoebe Litchfield, who scored a rapid 26 off 13 balls, and an unbeaten partnership between Nicola Carey (35 not out) and Annabel Sutherland (28 not out), who guided the team to victory with 12 balls to spare.
