Titans' Ridley, Key Out as McCoy Debuts

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley will miss Sunday’s Week 7 game vs. the New England Patriots after suffering a hamstring injury in Week 6; Van Jefferson is expected to have an expanded role while Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike — and, per one outlet, Tyler Lockett — have been mentioned as part of the receiving rotation. Arden Key is ruled out with a quad injury and rookie Oluwafemi Oladejo was placed on injured reserve after hurting his leg. Dre’Mont Jones is listed questionable with a knee issue, and defensive tackle T’Vondre Sweat practiced in a limited fashion and is questionable to return from IR; the Titans signed Ali Gaye to their 53-man roster. Bryce Oliver remains out for a fifth straight game, and kicker Joey Slye is expected to return after missing last week’s game. Tennessee (1-5) will play its first game under interim coach Mike McCoy, who stressed a “next man up” mentality.
