Aston Martin Reveals 2026 Vanquish Volante Specs

Aston Martin has unveiled the 2026 Vanquish Volante, a convertible version of its flagship Vanquish coupe, featuring a 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged V-12 engine producing 824 horsepower, making it the most powerful front-engine production car. The Volante shares many features with the coupe, including Bilstein DTX dampers and carbon-ceramic brakes, but has a unique suspension setup to account for its additional weight, which is 209 pounds more than the coupe. The convertible's top speed matches the coupe at 214 mph, although its 0-62 mph acceleration is slightly slower at 3.4 seconds due to the extra weight. The Volante also features a K-fold soft top that can be operated at speeds up to 31 mph. Aston Martin plans to produce less than 1,000 units annually, with a starting price expected around $500,000. The vehicle showcases Aston Martin's focus on maintaining design elegance while delivering high performance, despite the delay in their electric vehicle production plans.
