Gary Anderson claims 30th title at Players Championship Seven in Hildesheim

Gary Anderson secured his 30th career ranking title by defeating Adam Lipscombe 8-3 in the final of Players Championship Seven in Hildesheim. This victory marked a significant return to form for Anderson, who had not won since December and struggled earlier in the season. He progressed through earlier rounds decisively, overcoming Krzysztof Ratajski and Mike De Decker to reach the final. Lipscombe, in only his eighth tournament since earning his tour card, showcased impressive skills by defeating notable players like Dirk van Duijvenbode and William O'Connor en route to the final. The tournament also featured three players recording nine-dart finishes, although Michael van Gerwen suffered an early exit.
