Myles Creighton Records 59 at Wichita Open Korn Ferry Tour
Myles Creighton of Canada made history by shooting an 11-under 59 in the third round of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas Wichita Open on the Korn Ferry Tour, becoming the first Canadian to record a sub-60 round on the tour. His round included 12 birdies and one bogey, capped by a chip-in birdie on the 18th hole, and pushed him to 15 under for the tournament, putting him in contention for the lead. This achievement marked the 15th sub-60 score in Korn Ferry Tour history and the second sub-60 round at the Wichita Open in just three days, following Adrien Dumont de Chassart's 59 in the opening round. The tournament course, Crestview Country Club, plays to a par 70 and measures 6,910 yards. Creighton's feat follows a recent trend of sub-60 rounds globally, including a 57 set by Cristobal Del Solar at the Astara Golf Championship and a 59 by Jake Knapp on the PGA Tour. Despite his historic round, Creighton was closely challenged by Pierceson Coody, who moved to 16 under with an eagle during the same round.
