Breeze, Frontier Expand Myrtle Beach Route Options
Breeze Airways has expanded its network by introducing new nonstop routes from Myrtle Beach to New Orleans and Rochester, as well as from Long Island MacArthur Airport to Wilmington, North Carolina, offering fares starting at $49–$59 in response to record passenger demand at Myrtle Beach International Airport. The airline also now operates the nonstop route between Myrtle Beach and Trenton, New Jersey. Frontier Airlines is expanding summer service with new nonstop flights between Baltimore/Washington International and Chicago O'Hare, along with new loyalty perks for Elite Platinum and Diamond members, such as flexible companion travel for just the cost of taxes. Frontier's strategy also aims to attract Southwest Airlines customers with these new benefits. Both airlines are targeting under-served airports and affordable travel to increase market share during a challenging travel season. The focus remains on flexibility and value for budget-conscious travelers.
