Rob Marshall to Direct Guys and Dolls Remake

Rob Marshall is set to direct a new film adaptation of the classic musical 'Guys and Dolls,' with a script co-written by John DeLuca, John Requa, and Glenn Ficarra. The project, which has been in development for several years, is being produced by John Goldwyn, Marc Toberoff, and Marc Platt at TriStar Pictures. The 1955 film starred iconic actors such as Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra, and the original Broadway production premiered in 1950, winning five Tony Awards. Previous attempts to remake the film included casting talks with Channing Tatum and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, among others.
