Stefanos Tsitsipas has appointed former Wimbledon champion Goran Ivanisevic as his new coach in a bid to revive his struggling tennis career following a disappointing early exit at the 2025 French Open. Tsitsipas, who has won only two matches across his last four Grand Slams and is set to drop outside the top 20 for the first time since 2018, is starting this coaching partnership with a trial period at the upcoming Halle Open. Ivanisevic, renowned for coaching Novak Djokovic to nine Grand Slam titles and for his work with Marin Cilic, Tomas Berdych, and Milos Raonic, will be the sole coach on Tsitsipas' team, replacing his father Apostolos who was removed from the coaching box in 2024.
