COAST Foundation Drives Youth Entrepreneurship Across Bangladesh's Coastal Regions

Youth entrepreneurship is increasingly recognized as a critical solution to unemployment and economic growth challenges across diverse regions globally. In Ghana's Upper East Region, entrepreneur Patrick Asena Nsobila urges young people to embrace entrepreneurship as a sustainable path to job creation, emphasizing the need for personal initiative alongside government efforts. Similarly, Saint Lucia's Youth Economy Agency (YEA) supports young entrepreneurs through financial aid, capacity building, and mentorship, contributing to a decrease in youth unemployment. In Bangladesh, multiple youth entrepreneurship assemblies organized by the COAST Foundation, aligned with the Microcredit Regulatory Authority's framework, highlight the importance of empowering young entrepreneurs with access to finance, training, and market linkages to foster inclusive economic growth and poverty reduction, particularly in coastal and rural areas.
