Squid Game: The Challenge S2 Premieres; S3 Greenlit

Squid Game: The Challenge returns for Season 2 on November 4 with 456 contestants from around the world competing for a $4.56 million prize. Netflix will release four episodes on Nov. 4, three more on Nov. 11 and the final three (including the finale) on Nov. 18. The reality competition recreates Squid Game–style challenges without fatal stakes—eliminated players simply leave and forfeit the cash—and features new and returning games, shared dorm living and nods to the original series. Netflix has already greenlit Season 3 and opened casting in the U.S. and U.K. via Tudum for another 456 players. Season 1 winner Mai Whelan (Player 287) previously took the $4.56 million, and Netflix has teased appearances by familiar reality-TV faces among Season 2 contestants.
