Sir Rod Stewart, the 79-year-old rock legend, has publicly embraced his newfound passion for model railways, showcasing his layout named 'Grand Street & Three Rivers Railroad'. Initially embarrassed by this hobby, he now finds immense joy and relaxation in working on it, describing his workshop as 'like entering the gates of heaven'. After relocating the layout from Los Angeles to his English estate, Stewart is actively enhancing it with advanced lighting and sound effects to create an immersive experience. He humorously noted that while the sounds of children playing and traffic can be fun, they might get on your nerves after a while. The model includes a card church gifted by his friend Jools Holland, who shares his enthusiasm for the hobby. Stewart dedicates an average of four to five hours a day to this passion, which he considers a significant part of his life alongside music.
