Government invests £30m to reopen Doncaster Sheffield Airport

The UK government has announced a £30 million investment to support the reopening of Doncaster Sheffield Airport (DSA), which was closed in 2022. Sir Keir Starmer, during a visit to Doncaster, emphasized the importance of the airport for regional growth, linking it to the creation of approximately 5,000 jobs and an economic boost of £5 billion by 2050.
