As the friends investigate the disappearance, they start to vanish one by one, racing against time to uncover the truth behind a sinister force at play. Directed and written by Brandon and Garrett Baer, the film was shot during July 2020 using a mix of remote and in-person filming, blending screenlife and traditional filmmaking to authentically capture the technological reliance and anxiety of the pandemic period. The film aims to act as a time capsule reflecting the unsettling experience of that era, focusing on real-world fears rather than supernatural elements. "Don’t Log Off" is set to release in select theaters on July 11, with a VOD release following on July 15.
