Two Israelis Stabbed in Athens Amid Rising Anti-Israeli Attacks

On Friday night, two Israeli tourists were stabbed in Athens' Ermou Street in what authorities are treating as a targeted attack. One assailant, originally from the Gaza Strip and known to have participated in pro-Palestinian demonstrations, was apprehended, while his accomplice managed to flee. The victims were reportedly identified after being overheard speaking Hebrew and one wore a Star of David necklace. Fortunately, neither victim required hospitalization following the incident. This attack is part of a troubling trend of violence against the Israeli community in Greece, with previous incidents including arrests related to planned attacks on Israeli targets. The Israeli Foreign Ministry is coordinating with Greek authorities on the case.
