WWE has postponed WrestleMania 42, which was set for New Orleans in 2026, to an unspecified future year. In its place, Money in the Bank will be held in New Orleans in 2026 as part of a new multi-year partnership with TKO Group Holdings and local entities. WWE Friday Night SmackDown’s three-hour format is expected to continue through early June, according to internal USA Network listings. The extended runtime has received mixed fan reactions and has coincided with a significant drop in ratings, marking the lowest viewership of 2025. WWE has not officially confirmed the long-term show length for SmackDown. The future locations of major WWE events and the duration of SmackDown remain uncertain amid ongoing strategic changes.
