Astros' Chas McCormick Suffers Right Hand Fracture

The Houston Astros have placed outfielder Chas McCormick on the 10-day injured list due to a right hand fracture sustained while pursuing a foul ball. McCormick, who was enjoying a resurgence with recent adjustments at the plate, hopes to return by the end of the season or for a potential playoff run. In response, the Astros recalled infielder Grae Kessinger and reliever Bryan King from Triple-A Sugar Land. They also optioned reliever Nick Hernandez back to Triple-A after reinstating Ryan Pressly.
