Donnarumma, Hampton Win 2025 Yashin Trophies

Gianluigi Donnarumma won the 2025 Lev Yashin Trophy as the men's best goalkeeper, reclaiming the honor he first won in 2021. The award caps a campaign in which he helped Paris Saint-Germain to multiple trophies, including reports that they completed a domestic quadruple, before moving to Manchester City this summer amid a public falling-out with PSG boss Luis Enrique that left him frozen out. Donnarumma beat a field that included Liverpool's Alisson Becker (who finished second), Emiliano Martinez, Thibaut Courtois and Jan Oblak. In the inaugural women's Yashin Trophy, England and Chelsea goalkeeper Hannah Hampton won after starring for England at Euro 2025 and enjoying a strong domestic season with Chelsea.
