Neil Young to Release Lost Album Oceanside Countryside

Neil Young has announced the release of his previously unreleased album, Oceanside Countryside, on February 14, as part of his Analog Original Series. Recorded between May and December 1977, the album features original mixes and includes tracks that share themes with his 1978 album, Comes a Time, notably three songs that appear on both records. Young expressed his hope that fans will enjoy this 'treasure' of an analog recording, emphasizing that it reflects his original vision for the album's track order. The release will be available on various formats, including black and limited-edition clear vinyl. Additionally, while some songs have appeared in different versions on Young's Archives Vol. III, this will mark the first time Oceanside Countryside is made available in its original form. Young's band during the recording included notable musicians such as Ben Keith and Levon Helm, contributing to its rich sound.
