Ravens Finalize Fifth-Year Options for Hamilton, Linderbaum

The team declined the option for center Tyler Linderbaum, a two-time Pro Bowler, as the $23.4 million option would have set a record for a center's salary. Instead, the Ravens are pursuing a more team-friendly, long-term deal with Linderbaum. Both players, drafted in 2022, and team management have emphasized focusing on the upcoming season over contract negotiations. General Manager Eric DeCosta reiterated the organization's commitment to retaining both athletes. The deadline for exercising fifth-year options for 2022 first-round picks is May 1.
