Ecopetrol Acquires 49% Stake in Jemeiwaa Ka'I Wind Cluster, La Guajira

Ecopetrol has signed an Investment Framework Agreement with AES Colombia to acquire a 49% stake in the Jemeiwaa Ka’I wind cluster in La Guajira, Colombia, marking a significant move into renewable energy for the state-run oil firm. The project will comprise multiple wind facilities with a total capacity of approximately 1,087 megawatts and will include a 35-kilometer transmission line.
