Netflix Plans Multi-Season Documentary on Kevin Durant's NBA Career

Netflix has partnered with OBB Pictures and Boardroom to produce a definitive documentary series chronicling the life and career of NBA star Kevin Durant. Filming began before the 2023-24 season and will continue through the 2025-26 season and beyond, capturing Durant's journey from his early years in Washington, D.C. and Maryland, through college at the University of Texas, and his extensive NBA career, including his time with the Seattle SuperSonics/Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, Phoenix Suns, and Houston Rockets. The series, directed by Emmy Award winners Michael D. Ratner and Robert Alexander, offers an intimate look at Durant’s personal and professional life, featuring exclusive interviews with his family, coaches, and teammates.
