Woman and Dog Killed in Herne Bay Collision

A tragic collision in Herne Bay, Kent, resulted in the deaths of a woman in her 60s and her dog after they were struck by a black taxi on the A2990, Old Thanet Way, on the evening of September 6, 2024. Emergency services pronounced both the woman and her dog dead at the scene shortly after the incident. Kent Police have launched an investigation and are urging witnesses, especially those with dashcam or CCTV footage, to come forward with any information.
