Karol G, Casa Dragones Launch 200 Copas Tequila in US, Mexico

Karol G has launched a new cristalino tequila called 200 Copas in collaboration with Casa Dragones, co-founded by Bertha González Nieves, the first woman recognized as a Maestra Tequilera. Inspired by Karol G's 2021 song "200 Copas," the tequila aims to capture the spirit of cherished moments shared with friends, reflecting authenticity, craftsmanship, and connection. Made from 100% Blue Weber Agave grown in the volcanic soil of Tequila, Jalisco, the tequila is aged over 12 months in custom American oak barrels and filtered to achieve a crystal-clear appearance. It features tasting notes of citrus, pine, almond, roasted agave, plum, honey, and spiced wood, and is produced in small batches of no more than 500 cases. The collaboration highlights a partnership between two powerful Latina visionaries, blending tradition with innovation in the tequila industry. The product is available for pre-sale with an anticipated retail price of $119.99, launching in Mexico and the U.S. starting October 1, with plans to reach Colombia in 2026.
