Peloton Unveils AI‑Powered Cross‑Training, Raises Prices

Peloton announced a Cross Training Series that refreshes five devices — Bike, Bike+, Tread, Tread+ and Row — with swivel screens, faster chips, improved audio and connectivity, and premium models that include a camera-based Peloton IQ for rep counting, form correction and suggested weights. The company said Peloton IQ combines computer vision and wearable data and, by its account, a new large language model plus third‑party models to deliver adaptive plans, real-time insights and personalized class recommendations. Peloton raised hardware prices (examples: Bike $1,695; Bike+ $2,695; Tread $3,295; Tread+ $6,695) and increased All‑Access membership from $44 to $49.99, with higher app tiers also bumped. CEO Peter Stern framed the relaunch as a push to broaden Peloton into wellness, stabilize subscription revenue and reverse years of membership declines and revenue weakness.
