Slipknot Plans 25th Anniversary Deluxe Debut Reissue

Slipknot is set to release a deluxe 25th Anniversary Edition of their self-titled debut album on September 5, 2025, through Roadrunner Records, celebrating the album that launched them in 1999. The reissue will be available in multiple formats, including a 6LP box set with blood-spattered vinyl, 2LP, 2CD, and digital versions, featuring the original Ross Robinson-produced album alongside unreleased demos, alternate mixes, and live recordings from their early tours. A notable highlight is the release of the previously unheard demo of "Prosthetics," recorded before the band entered Indigo Ranch Studios, providing fans insight into the band's creative evolution. The box set includes 59 tracks encompassing raw demos, test mixes from various engineers, and live performances from 1999 and 2000, reflecting the band's aggressive sound and theatrical stage presence that redefined heavy music.
