Kansas Inmate Angel Lara Dies in Hospital

Angel Pedro Lara, a 25-year-old inmate at the Lansing Correctional Facility in Kansas, died on January 15 after being found ill in the facility clinic. Lara was serving a 123-month sentence for second-degree murder, having been convicted in connection with the shooting death of 31-year-old Chance Martin in May 2023.
