Wendy Williams' friends and family have launched a GoFundMe campaign aiming to raise $50,000 to support her fight for independence from what they describe as an unjust guardianship. The fundraiser, titled "Support Wendy Williams' Fight for Independence," highlights her isolation and the severed connections with loved ones due to her current living situation in a New York wellness facility. Williams has expressed feeling imprisoned and has only $15 to her name, while also lamenting that her beloved cats were sold without her consent. Her family believes she should return to Florida, where she can be surrounded by supportive friends and family. They have exhausted their financial resources in the legal battle against her guardianship and are seeking assistance to secure representation. As of now, the campaign has raised over $15,000 from more than 600 donors.
