West Ham Sign Diouf, Target Harvey Elliott

West Ham United have completed the £19 million signing of Senegalese left-back El Hadji Malick Diouf from Slavia Prague, making him their third addition of the summer transfer window. Diouf, 20, impressed last season with seven goals and four assists in 41 appearances, helping Slavia Prague win the Czech league title and perform strongly in European competitions. He will wear the No 12 shirt and is expected to join West Ham's pre-season camp in Germany, with a possible debut on July 19. Under new head coach Graham Potter, West Ham is also targeting Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott, valued at up to £50 million, to reinforce their attack after the sale of Mohammed Kudus. Elliott has struggled for starts under Liverpool's new manager Arne Slot and could be sold with two years left on his contract. These changes are part of West Ham's strategy to rebuild after finishing 14th in the Premier League last season.
