Florida Primary Election Results Announced

In the recent Florida primary elections, several key races have set the stage for the general elections on Nov. 5. Debbie Mayfield won the GOP primary for Florida House District 32, while Monique Miller secured the Republican nomination for District 33 and will face Democrat Vern Anderson. In Volusia County, Krista Goodrich and Cassie Gonyer will head to a runoff for the School Board District 2 seat, and incumbent Carl Persis will face Donna Brosemer in District 4. Osceola County saw mayoral races in St. Cloud and Kissimmee head to runoffs, with Chris Robertson against Tony Busby and Jackie Espinosa facing John Cortes. Laura Moss defeated Tracey Zudans for the Indian River County Commission seat, and Erin Lowry beat Linda Bartz for St. Lucie County Commissioner, both facing write-in candidates in November. Preliminary results show John Dittmore leading in Brevard County Commission District 3, with Dan Diesel, Robert Jordan, Katie Delaney, and Dwight Seigler competing in District 1.
