Livermore Man Arrested for Multiple Comic Store Burglaries, Stolen Legos Recovered
Noorullah Amiri, a 29-year-old from Livermore, was arrested by the Alameda County Sheriff's Office in connection with a burglary at Crush Comics in Castro Valley, which took place on March 22. Video surveillance captured two individuals breaking into the store and stealing merchandise valued at around $2,000, including comic books and action figures. Following the arrest, authorities executed a search warrant at Amiri's home, uncovering nearly 200 boxes of LEGO sets and other stolen items, some linked to an additional $10,000 burglary reported by a victim from another Bay Area city. The successful investigation involved collaboration among the Property Crime Unit, Gang Suppression Unit, and Street Crimes Unit. The victim of the separate LEGO theft was able to recover most of their stolen items from Amiri's possession. The Sheriff's Office commended the diligent efforts of their teams in addressing property crimes in the area.
