Ukraine Hits Russian Oil Facilities in Bryansk, Samara Amid Ongoing Conflict
Ukraine's military conducted strategic strikes on key Russian oil distribution facilities in the Bryansk and Samara regions, targeting crucial infrastructure that supports Moscow's oil exports and military logistics. In Samara, the attack focused on a production station blending oil for the Urals export grade, affecting oil shipments to the Black Sea port of Novorossiisk and the Druzhba pipeline to Germany, while Bryansk's station critical to Russian military supply was also hit. Damage assessments are ongoing, with reports suggesting oil supplies from Samara continue but at a reduced pace. These actions are part of Ukraine's renewed long-range drone campaign aimed at disrupting Russian oil revenues and frontline supplies. Additionally, Ukrainian forces struck a military airfield in occupied Crimea, damaging two Russian amphibious aircraft, though Russia claims to have intercepted some Ukrainian drones over these regions. The Russian Ministry of Defense has publicly acknowledged drone interceptions but has not commented on the full extent of the damage caused by the Ukrainian strikes.
