Indian musician Ustad Zakir Hussain has won three Grammy awards at the 66th Grammy Awards, held in Los Angeles on 5 February. Hussain won the Best Global Music Performance for Pashto, Best Contemporary Instrumental Album for As We Speak, and Best Global Music Album for This Moment. The wins mean that Hussain now has five Grammy awards, putting him on a par with late Indian musicians Ravi Shankar and Zubin Mehta. The Grammy Awards, presented by the Recording Academy, are considered the highest award in the music industry. This year's event was hosted by Trevor Noah and featured performances by Offset, Lil Nas X, Billy Porter, and Måneskin, among others.
