The Bellevue Police Department's bomb squad responded to a call from the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force in Dayton, Ohio, which reported a military-grade rocket in the garage of a Bellevue residence. The rocket was identified as a Douglas AIR-2 Genie, an unguided air-to-air rocket designed to carry a 1.5 kt W25 nuclear warhead, which was determined to be inert and contained no rocket fuel. The item was left with the neighbor to be restored for display in a museum.
