An Amber Alert was issued on Thursday night for 9-year-old Geon King-Parriett from Durham, North Carolina, who is believed to have been abducted by his 33-year-old mother, Mariah King. Geon is 4 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 100 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black hoodie and sweatpants. Mariah King, described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds, was last seen wearing gray sweatpants and a black crop top. Both were last seen leaving 202 South Benjamine Street around 6 p.m. on foot. Mariah King is listed as having absconded from parole or probation.
