Six Injured in Stolen Vehicle Collision in San Jose

A serious collision in San Jose involving a stolen vehicle left six people injured early Saturday morning at the intersection of McKee Road and Jackson Avenue. The incident occurred when a silver Infiniti, reported stolen, collided with a Ford Fusion after deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop but did not pursue the vehicle when it fled. Four occupants of the Infiniti suffered injuries, two of which are life-threatening, while the two individuals in the Ford sustained significant but non-life-threatening injuries. All victims were transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office is conducting an investigation in collaboration with the San Jose Police Department to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash. The area around North Jackson Avenue was closed for several hours as authorities worked at the scene.
