Edgecombe, 76ers Top Wizards in Summer League

Philadelphia 76ers rookie VJ Edgecombe returned from a four-game absence due to a left thumb sprain and helped lead his team to a 74-58 Summer League victory over the Washington Wizards. Edgecombe overcame a scoreless first half to finish with 15 points, six rebounds, four assists, and three steals, showcasing strong defense and resilience. Justin Edwards led the Sixers in scoring with 17 points, while Johni Broome posted a 14-point, 10-rebound double-double. The 76ers improved their team play and energy in the second half to secure the win. For the Wizards, AJ Johnson was the top performer with a game-high 20 points.
