Hyundai Reveals Ioniq 9 Electric SUV Design

Hyundai has unveiled its first-ever three-row electric SUV, the Ioniq 9, ahead of the LA Auto Show. Built on the E-GMP platform shared with the Kia EV9, the Ioniq 9 features a 110.3-kWh battery offering over 300 miles of range, with fast charging capability from 10% to 80% in 24 minutes. The SUV's design departs from the retro-futuristic styling of the Ioniq 5 and 6, boasting a sleek, aerodynamic shape with distinctive pixelated lighting elements. Inside, it offers spacious seating for up to seven passengers, luxurious features like reclining captain's chairs, and advanced tech amenities. Multiple configurations include Long Range and Performance models, with rear- and all-wheel drive options. The Ioniq 9 also supports bidirectional charging and access to a robust charging network, making it a strong contender in the growing electric SUV market.
