Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is set to attend the Global Investment Summit in Kolkata on September 20, aiming to attract investment to the state. The summit will host around 350 delegates, including industrialists and consulate representatives from over eight countries, where Yadav will present Madhya Pradesh's investment-friendly policies and opportunities. This visit is part of a broader initiative, the 'Road to GIS,' with previous engagements in Mumbai, Coimbatore, and Bengaluru, leading up to the major Global Investors Summit in Bhopal in February 2025. The Chief Minister plans to meet with prominent business leaders from various sectors, including textiles and steel, to foster trade relations between West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh. The state’s appeal lies in its strong infrastructure, abundant natural resources, and favorable law and order, which are key selling points for potential investors. This collaboration is expected to strengthen economic ties and facilitate the exchange of agricultural products between the two states.
