Expert Dojo plans $15 million investment in Indian startups by FY26

Expert Dojo, a Southern California-based early-stage venture capital firm, has announced a $15 million investment in Indian startups as part of its newly launched $100 million global fund, aimed at fostering early-stage ventures in sectors like fintech, B2B, SaaS, and AI. The firm plans to deploy this amount within the first year to support 20 to 25 startups, with individual investments ranging from $50,000 to $1 million, and will provide access to its international mentorship and go-to-market networks. Additionally, Expert Dojo intends to invest a further $30 million in Indian startups over the next 2 to 3 years, deepening its commitment to India's innovation ecosystem. The company has opened an office in Bengaluru, which will serve as a central hub for facilitating deal flow and supporting founders. With a track record of over 300 global startup investments, Expert Dojo aims to create a robust India-US innovation corridor, helping Indian startups scale internationally. The initiative reflects the firm's belief in the unmatched entrepreneurial talent within India, despite existing challenges in accessing cross-border capital and international mentorship.
