MiLaysia Fulwiley Moves from South Carolina to LSU
MiLaysia Fulwiley, former South Carolina guard and a key contributor to the Gamecocks' 2024 national championship, has transferred to LSU after being named SEC Sixth Player of the Year in 2025. Over two seasons at South Carolina, Fulwiley averaged 11.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game. She joins an LSU team led by coach Kim Mulkey and standout guards Flau’jae Johnson and Mikaylah Williams. The transfer intensifies the rivalry between LSU and South Carolina, both of which are recent SEC and national title contenders. Fulwiley is expected to play a larger role at LSU as the program retools its roster. The upcoming matchup between the two teams is now highly anticipated.
