Liberty Football Advances to CUSA Championship

Liberty High School's girls' basketball team, led by senior guard Madeline Casey, secured a strong start to the season with a 63-55 win over Southeast Polk, marking their first victory against the team in five attempts. Meanwhile, Liberty University's football team maintained its hopes for the Conference USA championship by defeating Western Kentucky 38-21, with a record-breaking rushing performance of 419 yards. Quinton Cooley and Billy Lucas each surpassed 100 rushing yards, and the Flames' defense forced four takeaways, showcasing a balanced team effort.
