Rod Wave Releases New Album 'Last Lap'

Rod Wave has released his latest album 'Last Lap,' featuring 23 tracks and guest appearances from Lil Baby, Lil Yachty, and Rylo Rodriguez—an unusual move for the artist. The album includes two singles, 'Passport Junkies' and 'Fall Fast in Love,' which have debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 97 and No. 68, respectively, marking Wave's continued presence on the charts with 72 entries. Following the album's release, Wave will embark on his 'Last Lap' Tour starting October 19 in Phoenix, joined by Moneybagg Yo and Toosii, covering various U.S. cities before concluding in Ft. Lauderdale on December 18. The album showcases Rod Wave's signature emotional depth and lyrical authenticity, exploring themes of love, struggle, and resilience. Additionally, Wave aims for his fourth consecutive number one album, competing against GloRilla’s debut 'Glorious' for the top spot on the Billboard 200. His previous album, 'Nostalgia,' debuted at number one with significant success earlier this year.
