2025 Polar Plunge Events Raise Funds for Special Olympics

Multiple Polar Plunge events are scheduled to take place in early 2025 to benefit various charitable causes. The Tucson Polar Plunge on January 18 aims to raise over $10,000 for Special Olympics Arizona, inviting participants to collect pledges and take a chilly dip at Highland Vista Pool. In Shawnee Mission, a local team named 'Shiver and Shine' will jump into Lake Olathe on February 22, supported by community members, including the school district superintendent, to raise funds for the Special Olympics. Concurrently, the Marine Corps League in Cape Cod is hosting its 4th annual plunge on the same day, with proceeds directed towards veterans and their families. Additionally, the Juniata Valley YMCA is organizing its 14th annual Polar Plunge during Snowfest at Greenwood Furnace State Park, featuring different donation levels for participants. These events reflect a broader community commitment to supporting local charities through engaging and fun activities.
