To accommodate the surge in passengers during the Onam festival, special trains will be operated from Kacheguda, Secunderabad, and Hubballi to Kerala. Notably, the Hubballi-Kochuveli special train (07333) will depart on September 13 at 6:55 am, returning the next day, while the Secunderabad-Kollam special train (07119) will leave at 5:30 pm on the same day, arriving at Kollam the next evening. This year, the Railways have increased their special trips to a total of 129, significantly up from 52 last year, to manage the typical influx of approximately 1.48 lakh passengers during the festival. Additionally, 190 extra coaches are being added to these services to ensure passenger comfort. Reservations for these trains are now open, and travelers are encouraged to book in advance for a smoother journey.
